The earwax sunday sessions gig at the New Cross Inn was a great day and we recorded three rather splendid sets from The Total Drop, Heath & the Subliminal Girls, expect another Sunday Sessions gig shortly. GOING from behind a laboratory bench to behind a lens, a medical researcher turned photographer is blending both his interests in a new photography exhibition.

After a life-long career in science, John Gaffen from Lewisham answered his creative calling and decided to pursue photography.

Deptford Arts Network is rumoured to be closing down after three years following intense discussions. It is hoped that a new body may rise, phoenix-like, from the ashes offering barbecued wings and smoked breast alongside the more traditional fare of news and insider information.

Our next RSVP event is during the Made In Deptford Festival; our next gathering will take place in an amazing teepee that cathedral have hired for the festival; we are working with Cathedral to invite locally based artist to contribute to the decoration of the space.
