However, the overall results of the survey will be passed to the Bank of England’s Agency for Greater London and will contribute to their analysis of developments in the London economy.

NEED, the humanitarian magazine is hosting a night of hope-filled debate and artisitc photographs in occasion of Human Rights Day.

A slideshow of images of the award-winning American humanitarian magazine will be screened for the first time in the UK, followed by a talk and Q&A with NEED's editor and contributors.

We are very pleased to announce a new global film challenge on the Renderyard web site. The 1 minute film challenge is for filmmakers to produce an original and imaginative film that works within the confines of sixty seconds. The categories for submitting your film are Film Animation Documentary Machinimia Experimental Title Sequence Film Clip Ident Advert.

Each month we will show the best film sent to us which will stay on the web site for a year. At the end of the year the best 12 selected films will be judged by a panel of filmmakers and selected judges from around the world to choose the winning film which Renderyard will then work with the director to produce there next short film and host it on our web site as well as featuring it in the Renderyard Film Festival.

London based HD-Productions launches training and seminar programme in HD production and tapeless workflow, for the freelance, independent production and broadcast sector. With the 2008 Olympics, "Beijing will represent the first time the Olympics will be shot and broadcast entirely in HD" as reported by a Natalie Finn Special to TelevisionWeek Oct 2006.

Now with the recently released Xdcam EX by Sony making it currently the only camera manufacturer to provide, portable hard drive, flash card based SXS sytem and XDcam Blu-ray non tape based recording formats suitable for broadcast and independent production sector. The other manufacturers such as JVC, Panasonic, RED, Thomson Grass Valley and Canon also support tapeless recording options and can be intergrated with an edit workflow either Final Cut Pro or Avid based.
