Last year, spring 2006, Vrolix created the design for a JC Decaux "pissoir" on the famous Reeperbahn in Hamburg, Germany.http://www.guidovrolix.com" target="_blank">www.guidovrolix.com/exhibitions/hamburg/index.html
This project was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
This year Vrolix got invited to participate in a special edition of the annual BMW Derby Meeting in Hamburg - June, 23rd - July, 1st. Sponsored by BMW and JC Decaux, 13 international artists were invited to decorate 13 polyester life size horses for the Derby Art Parade. The 13 artworks will be sold by auction and benefits will be yielded to the Hamburg Leuchtfeuer.
Vrolix went to Köln and Hamburg to work on his horse... and turned it into something only slightly different...
