Business Grant Launched

South London Business is operating a programme called City Growth Accelerator which provides grants for up to £5,000 for small to medium businesses to subsidise the costs of specialist consultancy advice. Grants of £1,250, £2,500 and £5,000 are available. For every pound invested, City Growth Accelerator will invest £2 (up to the value of the grant available). Therefore if a £5000 grant is received, the business will be required to contribute a further £2,500 towards the costs. So that’s £7,500 in total.
The support provided by the specialist consultant can vary from launching a new service, marketing or support raising finance.
The last date for applications is 30 November 2007.
Information workshop
South London Business has arranged a free, information workshop to help businesses that are eligible for the accelerator with issues related to applying for this funding.
Please note this workshop is only open to business that are eligible for this grant.
