Reminder- The City Growth Accelerator grant criteria is still the same as in previous rounds the closing date for applications is 30 May 2008. Eligibility Criteria
A business must,
· Employ 3 or more staff
· Have traded for 2 or more years
· Be located in these areas,
Blackheath, Brockley, Deptford, West Greenwich, West Greenwich, East Greenwich (up to the Peninsular), Lewisham Central, New Cross and New Cross Gate
Summary Details
City Growth Accelerator is a grant subsidising the cost of the specialist consultancy advice to help businesses take the next step in growth. Examples of types of support include new product design, launching a new service and marketing. For every £1 a company invests, City Growth Accelerator will invest £2 (up to the value of the grant available). Therefore if a company receives a £5000 grant, it will be required to contribute a further £2,500 towards the costs. So that’s £7,500 in total.
Grants of 1,250, 2,500 and 5,000 are available.
